Project Highlights

Conducted planning, project design, and construction administration.

Nourishment from offshore borrow areas using ocean certified trailer suction hopper and hydraulic cutter-head dredges.

Provided construction administration including successfully resolution of construction delays and subsequent claims resulting from schedule slippage, turtle takes and tires in the borrow areas.

Prepared environmental assessments and impact statements including economic analyses, essential fish habitat assessments and SEPA/NEPA coordination.

Completed state and federal permitting of first large scale non-federally funded beach nourishment project in North Carolina using offshore sand sources.
